'MUJERES DIVINAS'

Just a young photographer learning how to use my Canon,
I asked you to be my muse.
You mildly agreed to it,
and since we went to the museum together,
you wanted a photo for instagram anyways.
Although I spent everyday with you,
you looked different through that lens.
You were not someone I recognized, but a figure within a context.
The figure was beautiful, but not dominating.
The figure made her surrounding more beautiful,
and the environment seemed to move with her.
The art on the wall was gesturing towards her,
but she was completely unaware.
The light was shining and reflecting off of her,
as if she was emitting an energy that captured the attention of objects,
including my lens.
She looked like God.
If she was God,
why didn't I treat her like one?
